Marijuana

Why? Why? Did people want marijuana to be legalized.It's the stupidest thing ever.It should have never ever been legalized.Now we are going to have more marijuana users roaming around the streets at night.Does anybody think about how our state will look like with more marijuana consumers? Obviously not.I really wished that it had never been legalized because now teenagers will think it is ok to consume marijuana.When people voted to legalize marijuana they did not really think it through because now they give teens the idea that marijuana is ok to consume.I wouldnt want my child to consume marijuana what so ever.hopefully there're teens out there who are smart enough to not consume marijuana.I really hope marijuana can become illegal again.

Election

Many people were either happy or unhappy on the day of the election,but me I was pretty calm.The election was intense.Everyone that I know was posting so many things about the election.All of my teachers voted.Some of them didn't want to tell us who they voted for.Election day was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stressful.My mother didn't vote though.She says "It is not my right to vote for a Prsident when I wasn't even born here." I belive everyone should vote,but honestly our votes really seem like they don't count.I wish we had to vote every eight years because voting every four years is a drag.It's too stressful.I feel

Singing

Singing can be a very hard thing to do. It can be hard because not everybody is confident to do such a thing. I have sang all my life and I still get kind of shy to sing infront of people. I get shy because I feel like people are going to make fun of my singing voice. It's hard for me to perform alone. I have that habbit to sing with a partner so I won't be shy. When I had to sing for our NCAS gala at the end of the year I was freaking out. I was thinking a lot of negative things. I thought this because many of our choir girls had said that they weren't going to come to the gala. Now I feel like things have changed and I've grown stronger to my fears. I'm more confident singing alone infront of people.

Denver Urban Debate League( D.U.D.L)

Well I don't know if you all know, but some of the NCAS students participated on the DUDL. It was hard, but fun. My team mates and I had so much fun. We all talked about our case. All of us got to try both affirmative and negative. We debated if there should be more highways and high speed rails. As I said we got to expericence both affirmative and negative. We got to debate about both highways and highspeed rails. The hardest part of our debate was just having a little bit of information. We literally only got one day to study. The reason for that was because another team dropped out and our coach Ms.Damon told them we would be more than welcome to be in the debate team. Either way we did good for just knowing a little bit of information. I was nervous at first, but then I got use to it. Being on the debate team is an honor. Not everybody gets to be on the debate team. I alo believe that not eveybody can debate. It takes a person with a lot of guts to get up there with confidence and present their case to a judge without looking at your partner or opponent. I'm a very shy person so I was pretty suprized that I got up there and presented my case. At the end of the day it was awesome. We learned,had fun,and most of all represent our school.

Re:Ideas are Cheap

I feel like the speaker gets off topic a lot, but he did explain that ideas are cheap.I agree with him when he says that ideas ar cheap.I agree because if someone or when I have an amazing idea it turns out to be boring, but if I have a simple idea it actually turns out to be better than the really amazing idea.Ideas can be cheap if we make them be cheap.I say just keep it simple and your ideas will turn out to be majestic.

Friday nights with Nancy

I was laying down in my room when out of the nowhere click,click,click. I slowly sat up and kind of creeped to the window to see what was going on. I see my friend Nancy throwing rocks at my window. I open my window and tell her,"Nancy what do you want ?" Nancy says "It's Friday silly come on get down here." I start to throw on the shirt Nancy and I made and ran down stairs. I walk down the front door stairs and ask,"Are they in your garage yet." Nancy tells me "Yes,they're in here." C'mon Nancy lets go see what they talk about now. Nancy and I would always follow our mothers to Nancy's garage to see what our moms were up to. They pulled out some text books,notebooks,and a telescope. They started to talk about astronomy. Nancy and I would immatate our mothers. They would turn and look at us. We would look at eachother and laugh.

Teen Parenting

I feel like teen parents should be more responsible. You all should know what I mean. I see so many teen parents that don't even take care of  there kids. I may be a teen mom,but I take care of my son all the time. It makes me mad when I see teen parents with there child out in public and don't take care of them or pay any attention to them what so ever. They really need to take responsibility for there child. It's not like there kids ruin there life. They need to be way more mature about responsibility. Yes I do understand you want to have fun and party,but you can't do that anymore. You have a baby and that child will look up to you. Anything you do will inspire them to do something you did. Being a parent isn't about just having a baby. It's about carring,educating,feeding,and loving your baby. It's a huge responsibility. Teens don't see that it's not easy. It makes other teen parents look bad because there is a couple of teen parents who just don't take care of there babies and treat them bad. Honestly in real life there is a lot of good teen parents that are responsible for there actions.

TANFL

This reminds me of some people in this world that think every single thing is free.I honestly believe that you have to earn everything in this universe.This interested me because the author wrote like a high school student.He adds a lot of  detail,but at the same time it seems like he is adding a lot of thought and emotion to it.I feel like he is trying to tell the readers and explain that if you want something or pursue something in life you have to work for it because nothing comes to you without hard work and effort.This article actually inspires me to be a writer because it is true without hard work I will never get anything published.I want to know how it feels to get published and be a best seller.
